Self Care Sunday - 3 Tips for You
Whether it's planning your meals, your outfits for the week, when you are going to exercise, when are you going to make time for some fun! I find it easier to plan all of the above at the start of the week, I'm not naturally a morning person, so I like having my clothes for the next day laid out before I go to bed. It just works better for me. and when trying to make healthy food choices, again planning ahead helps me to avoid grabbing an unhealthy snack. All the things I really want to achieve in the coming week, need to be put into my schedule, or I find before I know it, the week has gone and left me behind.
3. Thinking and Thanking - End and start the day in gratitude, think of 10 things you are grateful for.
This is such a simple ritual that has helped me become much more of a positive person. As someone who has suffered with depression, and with all the doom and gloom in the world, I need to make a conscious effort to focus on the good. Thinking about the good things in my life, and it can something small like a smile from someone or a great cup of coffee, being grateful for these daily pleasures helps me to have a great day. Even on a 'bad day' there is always something good you can take from it.
'A positive attitude becomes a great day which becomes a great month which becomes a great year which becomes a great life'
